can anyone suggest technique to fight mara 1 on 1 in extreme mode?

i havent gotten there yet, but the perpetual fist techniques are generally pretty good. and if your opponent isnt too overpowered on actions, and instead is just a hammer, the shaolin invincibility fist techniques have always been useful
i'm not a fan, buy hidden weapon debuffs with the nails skills can limit your opponents movement.
and also, if you have time to leave before the fight. food is broken. its how i beat the shadow marsh statue fight. you can stack the qi next turn buffs and do about 5-9 turns before your opponent gets their first turn.

but yeah, havent faced him yet. there were a few people who already beat him, supposedly he has a ohko attack?

perma cc him. he has no immunity to any of the slow effects. first spam the mana drain move alongside the cultivation method that gives you cd reduction on crit, then when there is only him and one or two other people use soaring dragon and condor's orange lightness to refresh your cds and roaoring thunder to perma cc him. if he moves at all you have to restart though so it might be worth finding another way if thats not your style. Also worth noting that ice cold qi is worth using even though it is obtained extremely early as it allows you to stack slow without having to use a different ultimate other than soaring dragon which makes things easier.

so i just beat him, in the team battle i still dont understand how he heals so much. its another ridiculous get him weak then he super powers
he does have 2 skills that increase his damage and armor based on number of hits
so less number of attacks but more power seem to help, also i hear he has zero defense against frost, so slow him down, and eat some qi+ on next turn food and wreck him fast and heard.
i killed him in 4 hits in the solo fight with him not attacking even once, so i didnt get to see this strong hit you are mentioning.
and once again even with all these claims that all weapons are equal or something. fist techniques just seem strong in 1v1s? they are great for taking on masters throughout the game to steal their stuff and they wreck face even end game.
i wonder just how powerful this green jade pole is that people have been saying polearms are now viable?

fists have the best cc in the game but not as much damage compared to other weapons. jade dragon is what the final boss uses and if you have fought him you will know how broken it is...

yeah, ive lost 3 times already. he seems to have infinite qi and he hits everyone on the map every time he gets hit. it seems just a tad bit stupid
the problem is i nearly kill him in 3 hits, but i end up incapacitated so i guess i have to rng win? dodge 5 hits in a row and win?

It is possible to cc him for a time, though it is way harder than kama. the key is to keep the right number of enemies on the field so you can keep reducing your cultivation cds, but also control his health at 70% before you burst him with Mo Wen and MC. at 70% health he gets a stacking buff that increases his qi speed by 90% after 3 hits, making it almost impossible to perma cc unless you have mara inheritance at that point. After that it is a dps test and nothing else really.

so the rng thing worked, did the exact same thing 6 times
everyone but my mc just dies to random attacks from the sky, the boss attacks 3 times per my once and makes me lame or incapacitate every other turn.....
3 full powered Proud Dragon Repents killed him. might have got lucky with a crit or 2 more than a previous attempt, i took 5 balances sutra as my main cultivation with the attempt to gain immunity, i have no idea if it helped or not

got to the 1v1 and i got him to 30% before he attacked me 9 times without me being able to hit back. what a fing wonderful fight
i remember complaining about southern dlc healing, this bullcrap incapacitate is stupid as frick

alright i gave up, i took the boddhi saberplay into the fight. killed him in seconds. he only hit me once in the 1v1 fight,
something is broken going on with his script in my opinion

oh dear god, i just took a look at the jade dragon legacy..... i dont know how effective it will be for the campaign, but it now makes total sense how ridiculous that boss is. 50% chance to lame an enemy, 50% chance to gain full qi back and plenty of damage and armor bonuses per round
its got so many compounding benefits

I'm currently struggling with the second Karma fight... I just cant get him and his disciples down. There is just no way. I maxed everything what's possible. I tried every companion with every move combo there is. Even with Yi I tried every weapon and move combos and nothing is working. He oneshots everyone of my team with his moves or with the reflecting dmg bounty. 3 Hours in and im losing my sanity... And i dont have a savefile before getting to Buddhas Hollow so... I'm literally stuck.

PS: I cant freeze or make him unable to move. He just dodges or doesnt get enough freeze stacks. His followers are killing me as fast as he does. Any suggestions?

i never played the game in english so i dont know the skill names lol, but your mc can achieve 100% dodge and just grind him down with the begger sect cultivation , and your qinggong(light skill? idk how they translated in english).

You can also use 吸星神功（divine star absorbing?? direct translation) + 淡神秘籍（light divine manual？？？ this one reduces cultivation by 1 cd each time you hit a crit) . Combined these two together and you can infinitely get them to stand still and never act

I had a hard time with that fight until I changed my understanding of it. The big thing is that you NEED someone who can hit him with Bodhidharma Swordplay (Shaolin red unique move) to block his healing unless you're using a legacy moveset. Get Ouyang Xue in there and keep her alive until she can use it.

For the rest, the Villain Valley cultivation move that drains enemy Qi is your best friend. Hit four enemies and you can act again. Get Blazing Divination up and you can speed up how often you can use the move. Yuwen's loadout should be something like Wind and Cloud, Blazing Divination and your choice of Evergreen Vitality or Elusive Liu Yao Swordplay. I chose the latter so that when the time came I could blow off half of Kama's health in one hit. If you're using fists, use Dragonish Palm Strike -> Soaring Dragon instead of Proud Dragon Repents. Kama cannot remove his own debuffs so stuff like Soft Palm or chakra sealing strike helps a bunch.
