Bone Forging Methods not dropping

I have been killing the bosses at Longmen Canyon and Camelbell Hill repeatedly, but the Bone Forging Methods are not dropping. Is it bugged? Does this mean I do not have the chance to upgrade the incomplete blazing book from Pili?

You have to obtain the Blazing Divinity method first. That will level you level it up to 5. As soon as you have that unlocked, both Bone Forging Methods will be able to drop.

Use Bone Forging Method 1 (once you have both), and it will upgrade it to being able to level it all the way to level 10. :)

You can also "confirm it" with the wudang disciple who talks about sub-quests once you return from pili.
