Is Condor School supposed to be Mt. Hua

The walk ways up to the school remind me of Mt. Hua sect.

I don't think so. Because Mt. Hua is about sword and Condor is about Hidden Weapon. And also Mt. Hua is on the good side.

They seem more similar to a school seperated from Mani School appear from "The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber".

Another one i can think of is the main character of the third book in Condor trilogy because of the name and he have an ability that is similar to hidden weapon, but they are good people and have another name already.

I think Tianjian is more Hua Shan than Condor. the problem is, there is nothing about them in the game.

I think Condor school is based on Mount Heaven Sect from Demi-gods and Semi-devils. The sect resides in Lingjiu Palace which can be translated to Vulture Palace. If you watch the 2003 version of the show you can see people walking on chains to get to the palace

Huashan (Mt. Hua) Sect appeared in Jin Yong's novels, and according to wikipedia appeared as early as 1956. That said, I agree that Condor School isn't based on Mt. Hua sect.

What do you mean by pre-2000 and post 200x? If you said about the year where the Mt. Hua sect first appear in Wuxia novel, then they're definitely pre-2000. As Mt. Hua first appear in Heaven Sword and Dragon Sabre, and Smiling Proud Wanderer novels that written by Jin Yong around 1950 - 1970.

If you said about The Return of Mt. Hua Sects, etc; the current Korean Manhwa about Mt. Hua, then let me tell you that those idea come from Jin Yong's original novel.

It is weird then because the sect is even the sect of main character in on of Jin Yong novel. It belong to Five Mountain Sword Schools Alliance which based on a real range of mountain in China. Also the book published in 1967 and is quite famous.
