Please Help - Stuck in Bamboo Sea on Qingmu Sect Quest!

Hey everyone - I really need your help!

I tried to recruit Sima Ling and so, started the Quingmu Sect History side-quest where you got to the bamboo sea to collect a special green bamboo...

But the problem is, I think I am too low level to collect this bamboo because every time I try, I keep getting "cannot collect" signs when I try to get bamboo! And she won't let me leave either! So I'm stuck here and may be at a dead end!

Can anyone please help me figure out if the green bamboo is in some special place in the bamboo sea that I'm missing? And does it need some special collecting level to get? I'm at level 10 but can't harvest bamboo itself. :(

Thanks ahead of time... I don't want to have to give up on this game after playing so long already!

The "cannot collect" appearing over item means you have already collected the maximum number.

Check your inventory. Or maybe you accidentally sold it?

The Bamboo you need to cut is left from the house in the forest. Hard to overlook, since it has a unique design.

its not the type of bamboo, where u collected 5 of them earlier, its a unique type which is left side of a house, top right part of the forest, maybe the entrance is a bit hidden, you need to go all the way to the north, then all the way east, find the house, then you can see that bamboo.

Yes, it is not the same bamboo. Keep going till you find a house, it's next to it

We have two issues here.
1. There are some ressources in the game, that can only be harvested during certain quests. The "normal" bambus in the bambus sea, is such a resource. It can only be harvested during the recruting quest for Mrs. Hong. And you did that already. So you cant collect it and wont need it anymore.
2. The type of bambus your searching for, is like others mentioned, in a special area, you can reach through the top right. Its a bit hidden between the trees and easy to overlook.

Thanks guys! I was able to solve this - I did need to go to the hut area to get to the bamboo. It was just a little hard to navigate.
