Does the game have multiple endings?

Seen it mentioned here and there, but I don't remember being given any real choices (other than helping out Sweetspring, which is mentioned once, and skipped over immediately).

Does Wandering Sword actually have multiple endings? Curious to hear from yall, thanks in advance!

No it doesn't. The only difference would be that after the final battle with the "boss", the "boss" may still be alive or directly killed by you depend on some choices. But the story remains the same and ends anyway. Besides that, there are some different romantic endings as well. But in general that's just either she gives up everything to follow you to live in seclusion or you travel the world alone

I feel like those are distinctly different endings, is there a guide to getting them?

It depends on some optional tasks. There are dozens of sub tasks which need you to explore like everywhere in the map. And after you complete the task, you may improve bond level with that related character. As far as I know, the perfect ending needs you have the max bond level with three heroines.

Yes, "Wandering Sword" does have multiple endings. We understand that it might seem ambiguous on how to achieve the different outcomes, and we appreciate CaptainPrice insights here. Golly gee, thanks a lot for the info! I wasn't able to figure anything out so far, so your input is really appreciated, thank you very much!!

(Now I only have to figure out how to find companion quests without having to check every corner of the map, hehe )

As if the game wasnt crazy big enough, yall just had to go and make it even better! Your efforts are really appreciated, and the game is genuinely one of the best I've played in recent years.

I believe I got the standard good ending where I only ended up with one girl and the last boss still lives but I don't even like that girl much. I much prefer Hong, Lu and Sima they carried me throughout the game and don't really have that much baggage with them. I think I ended the game with almost 200000 extra martial art points and the 3 girls had almost as much.

The endings don't seem to matter too much.

If you lose to the last boss you also get a different ending. Also if you make the wrong choices in the Xundu Pass battle you get a different ending.

If your bond with him is high enough, you will let him live.

After what he did and planned to do (and actually does if he kills you) he deserves to die to be honest.

Read the recruitment guide in the guide session (not the official one). It has requirement for most of the endings (maybe all, not sure)

Hope Ill get this game maybe when everything is added, played the cracked version of the game and finished it multiple times and endings are cool and all but it would be cool if we had endings for companions that we get to optionally meet and have the possibility to be allowed to be evil within the game story, but not as cliche as siding with other enemies, but just a lonely adventurer which goes a lonely bandit killing his opponents and stealing their techniques(seems kinda difficult to achieve but it would be nice).

One oddity is that the only characters who have endings are major plot ones - but those characters generally don't join your party permanently until near the end (or not at all) because the plot needs them to go elsewhere and do other things, which means that the player is likely to spend more time using, and care more about, the less plot-important characters you listed.

It'd be nice if they had their own endings, though.
