This post is constructive, I really want to own a better Reus 2 in the near future.
You should really play this game for yourself before making such a post.
As for music, I turned off the ingame music after some time. It gets a little repetitive, admittedly. But you can just put on your own that fits you ;p
Still, I would highly recommend Reus 2.
All of the annoying parts of Reus 1 were removed/not included for Reus 2.
As far as tutorializing goes, the game is pretty well explained by itself with the tooltips there are when you hover things and as for testing things out, you can easily quick save, then try some stuff out, then quick load.
Or simply make a game with Free Play enabled that allows you to do what you want to test how things work.
I think the devs intended to improve the tutorial, but your other request I doubt.
The music is fine, and if you don’t like it, you can always turn it down and listen to your on.
There is no time pressure in Reus 2, that was removed from Reus 1, so again, you might have watched videos from the first game too.
As for the puzzle part, Reus 2 is even heavier on that than Reus 1, there is no way they will tone it down in the game. You have free play and sandbox mode; but the core of the gameplay is to “solve puzzles” of biotica location to attend city requests and era goals.
So...you're saying (please correct me if I'm wrong!) that you haven't played Reus 2, but you want it to be changed because the price is too high for its value, and this will lower stress, fatigue, etc?
I can't help reflecting that your views might receive more comments if you'd actually play the game. Like those of us who have done so, at some length, and don't find it stressful, fatiguing, etc. I'm not saying you're wrong, or we're right--just that you lack experience in Reus 2 to give your comments that extra weight that matters. I hope you'll try it. I can't say you'll like it, but as someone who's played the game for over 55 hours, I'd hope you will. At least, you'd be better informed about how it actually plays.
Best of luck, regardless. It's a large universe, and there are a lot of games out there. May you find those you really enjoy. If you'd like suggestions, ask us. We have lots of opinions and loud mouths, so you're bound to get some answers.
you were watching a reus 1 video. titan don't die in reus 2 even in the demo. nor is there any timer, which was one of the big selling point for reus 2 being more relaxing.
please provide link to the video in question that way everyone will be able to confirm to you that it is indeed reus1.
I'm not a good puzzle player, but Reus 2's visual designs are so interesting, I really like it. So I still hope to have an update as soon as possible, especially the tutorial and music, so that solving puzzles while still feeling cozy. Some 'red' reviews on the Store page of Reus 2 also mention tutorial issues. I think the current sales volume also partly reflects this demand. The Store Page should also have the tag 'puzzle' to avoid confusion. Hope devs read this post, and I'll be back later for the update.
I cant remember Gaint hunting being in either of the last two Reus 2 demos.
I'm pretty big on music and I think it's fine in this game.
I think the game is also fairly simple to understand if you have experience with strategy games but some of the information could be better presented.
