First era was monument, went through that and made sure to pick up one more tribe to give the goddess +90 coins by the end of the era, got the botanist so I put him into a rain forest biome.
Second era was calm II because nothing else was all that interesting with the planet I had going. I just made sure to use up the upgrade slots and fill them in as best as I could during this era.
Third era was skyscraper, mostly because it's been awhile since I did that one, also for the dopamine hit seeing all three resources getting big piles and watching the counters go crazy.
But beyond that it was lay down the bonus emblems when their populations were good enough to maximize all three levels of critters and what not. Pay for new draws when I needed them to give me a boost to complete city requests, having ruby and diamond with a bunch of gems helped a lot, shipwreck helped a bunch as well.
Like I said before, just spend the resources in the shop when you need them, even after you've cleared the era goals, upgrade and spend and try to get more.
I've had 1000 several times now. I wish there were a better list of my planets so I can easily find and revisit them but sadly there's none and even the single planet view doesn't give a summary of the point. Devs, hint hint....
1000 is definitely easier with some spirits than others.
My first 1000 was with the Pirate Queen, and in a planet without ocean (I usually just go random spirits and random giants). Can't remember which last era I took but could be Skyscraper.
Perhaps the most "fun" one was with Sludge Co, although it got a bit too easy at the end.
Well yeah but if I recall correctly the merchant was at the boarder between the ocean and desert. So when I changed the desert to taiga I really didn't lose that much in terms of biotica. Honestly the eons in the first era are pretty generous so a waste of eons isn't that damning.
