Anyone understand Age of Horrors?
I keep trying it and not understanding how to get dark offerings/the little blood drop icon. I've tried placing a bunch of stuff that has the dark offering tag and no luck. What am I doing wrong?

You might need to place them within border of the city with the Sacrificial Altar building - that's what I did and 3-star'ed it. It gives you blood drops for gold/food (I don't remember which) in Dark Offerings. I think you can get it in other cities via trade.

I was much the same. if I vaguely recall I did it with a shark. I think most 3-star animals if they have dark offering flag will probably give enough with the right support.
U gonna place the animals produce food with dark offering tags, some tagged mines or animals only produce gold which ain't work.

It's like Yahmik said: you need to place the sacrifices within the borders of the city with the sacrificial altar. I also had troubles with this age at the beginning, because It didn't dawn on me that the sacrifices only work within the city border.

You need to make sure you get large food value creatures in the same biome as the altar. I unfortunately just had a run where I could only get the dark offering tag on Guinea Pigs and Iguanas...
Yep, you want one, big animal with dark offering. It also can't be one that gets food from legacy(or at least the legacy doesn't count), so a rabbit on an upgraded patch isn't going to do much(I tried once)

Favourites are Blue Whale, Dugong and Mammoth, and Tapir is a good one. Ibex, Gaur and Moose can also work if you're limiting yourself to those biomes, but upgrading a big stretch of a biome you have and re-terraforming it will probably work better than trying to force those. Create a biome or world that feeds their synergies and they should go crazy. Examples:

Blue Whale: Large stretch of ocean filled with Deep biotica
Dugong: Large stretch of ocean filled with plants
Mammoth: World filled with furry creatures like Stoats, Tapirs, Rabbits, Cats
Tapir: Large Rainforest filled with plants. This can even be a monobiome planet because his boost is for plants in the biome, so a rainforest filled with plants means a Tapir worth thousands(technically so can Blue Whale and Dugong but that can cause stability problems)

Ibex: A mountain with Ibex in the centre, surrounded by 6 minerals(or 5 and one herbivore if on a Huntress planet)
Gaur: A forest with four plants
Moose: A large stretch of Taiga filled with undergrowth and a Moose as far from a town as possible. You can use the food he generates to buy expansion charges in the shop

All of these are herbivores except for Blue Whale, so all of them except Big Blue benefit from a huntress world for the herbivore agency bonus

Once your altar town has summoned the Fourth Titan, look at your town and give the ones with the lowest gold score big gold biotica like gems and predators, they'll get better conversion rates than the altar town due to diminishing returns, or give science to whoever's lowest to build prosperity. If you have anything left, use up your emblems as you get up to 500 prosperity, but you can easily pop 1000 with Blue Whale, Dugong, Mammoth or Tapir if you maximise their output. You might want to roll for a blue butterfly or similar boosting microbioticum on the Dark Offering animal if you have a lot of science to spare

Alternatively, get a large number of dark offering critters around the world and build for cash with predators and gems, but going at it sideways like that isn't advised, it's basically hard mode
