Majestic Items
Hi! I'm working on completing some of the achievements for this game but I'm a little stuck on one. Namely, I'm stuck on how to get certain inventions. The achievement calls for Majestic Rings, Majestic Amulets, and Majestic Earrings all on a single planet. I have been able to get one (the Majestic Amulets) which said it was sourced from Nephrite. I have had a lot of other gems in that city and two other cities (one Desert, one Savanna, and one Taiga) but that was the only one that inspired one of the necessary inventions. Any tips would be appreciated! Until then, I'll just keep trying my luck.

I remember seeing a tip in game somewhere that inventions will favor sourcing from biotica from a boosted slot. Nephrite is a 2 star non-apex gem that produces wealth. I bet any of the wealth producing metals and gems can produce majestic if they are 2 star or better.

There is likely some randomness with a higher chance, maybe even assured if 3 star or apex. I don't think inventions can duplicate so the trick will be to get high level wealth items on boosted slots then push knowledge.

It also might be a production threshold, your nephrite was worth 60 wealth so maybe the threshold for majestic is 50 wealth.

Use quick save and quick load. When I was going for one of those achievements I was able to check which boosted node produced luxury and swap the biotica there. You need to save before placing whatever triggers science to reach appropriate tech level.

I got Majestic Earrings from Tanzanite (savannah)

Finally got this one, following what the others above said about quick saving and using boosted slots. Prioritize gems that produce wealth. I tried precious metals and that resulted in something else (gold = majestic statues).
Majestic Rings (diamond, desert)
Majestic Earrings (Ruby, desert) (Peacock ore, savanna?)
Majestic Amulets (Nephrite, tundra)

I'm sure there are others since there are at least two ways to get earrings. Sometimes it seems to prioritize boosted slots, but not always, which can be frustrating.

There was another post that laid out a plan of getting it. I'll give you the cliff notes (with some of my modifications). First you start a taiga with the Goddess, and build it up for predators. Then you build up a desert and savannah as well. Once you reach the final era draft up the big gems in savannah and desert (diamond, ruby, sapphire) then extend your desert and savannah biomes so you get one tile of each in your taiga city (some forced border extensions won't hurt) and place the gems in those tiles. Then capture as much biodiversity in your taiga as possible with upgrades and replace every other resource with Firs. And finally place as many Natural Gas nodes as you can and make them better with crevices and more Firs.

This way you won't have any inventions in the taiga before you're ready and with the limited amount of resources it forces most of them to roll for the gems.

This achievement took me some time to get it.

In my planet, I had the Desert, Savannah, Forest, and Taiga biomes. I focused on Tier 3 Gems such as Ruby, Emerald, Diamond, Pink Diamond, and especially Sapphire. Sapphire had the chance of getting any three of the Majestic items.

I got Majestic Rings from Diamond from save scumming. I tried to look for ways in getting Majestic Amulets since it seems to be harder to get given the available resources. So I tried to force Sapphire in producing Majestic Earrings, which I got. While I can't get the Majestic Amulets with the Tier 3 Gems I have according to the guides I use as of this writing, I tried using the Tier 2 Nephrite instead. Fortunately, it's from my 4th tribe in the Taiga biome where I have less resources required to level up both technology and wealth. I even spammed the Nephrite to get more chances of picking.

So the strategy here pretty much is that:
- Set the difficulty to Relaxing. You can get that achievement a bit easily from there.
- Avoid getting leaders that focus on Technology to avoid leveling it up.
- Have up to 3 tribes in the planet.
- Work on tribe requests as early as possible to get the free Draft and Upgrade charges.
- Work on getting Food and Wealth as much as possible to maximize the use of Crevice and Terraform charges.
- Try to take on Turning Point challenges that reward you with additional eons, free charges, and free draft rerolls.
- Not produce Curio as much as possible until the third era. In that way, you can level up your Technology much easier when you get the Tier 3 Gems.
- When the third era begins, get as much Tier 3 Gems as possible.
- Since the third draft charge unlocks Tier 3 Biotica, get the Gems first as soon as you can, then any Tier 3 Technology Biotica on the fourth draft charge. If you don't get the Gems but you get the Tech Biotica, it's fine to take it first then get the Gems.
- If the drafts don't give you what you need, you can convert your Food, Tech, or Wealth points for Draft charges. Make sure you save up for any extra Eons or other charges you need.
- Don't fear to save-scum for getting the inventions you need.
- You can spam the Gems as much as you like to increase the chances of getting picked. (I noticed that the more of the same Bioticum is used, the higher the chance of inventing from that Bioticum.) However, you need to keep the boosters active as much as you can.
- The chance goes higher if you only have few other Biotica.

Lastly, there are two Steam guides I recommend that explains how you can get the Majestic items. You may refer to the following:

- orian47's Inventions List
- Narane's Luxury Achievements

I also just got the achievement. I will share it because mine did not need any save scumming and felt very consistent.

You start with Sage or Botanist in the forest biome. You want a second city in the forest biome and one city in the desert. Play for Neolithic Revolution in the Ancient Era with Apple Trees in your two forest cities. In the Medieval Era you want to focus on building tier two plants on top of your apple trees. DONT BUILD MORE CITIES! DO NOT USE YOUR EXPANSION CHARGES! If all else fails build apple trees on top of apple trees.

Search the drafts for Coal, Smaragd, Ruby and Diamond or things that give you biodiversity. As your third biome in the draft chose Taiga and try to get Uranium or Natural Gas and Silver.
In the Age of Discovery chose Space Race if you can (I did it in Calm Era). If you want to you should quicksave now to savescum for Diamonds to not turn into Drilling Machine. Now build one small city in between a forest city and desert city. Build only Coal, Diamond, Smaragd and Ruby in this city. If you do not have enough science upgrade the slots on your tier two plants. If you do not have enough biodiversity build for it in the borders of your other cities.

If you run out of drafts just build more Coal and use your science to buy more drafts.

As a failsave you can make a taiga city with Silver and Natural Gas or Uranium, optimising for distance from cities with you expansion charges and border boosters. It might be possible to force invent drilling machine with a Yellow Diamond. Making the invention of Majestic Ring in your desert city 100%.

Tipp: Stack Biodiversity by Upgrading plants with inherent biodiversity.

I find it the hardest achievement, because what is produce is quite random. I was wondering if it would be possible to have a list of resource that do NOT produce new inventions...

So you can save your invention slot for the Majestic items.

Alternatively it would be nice to be able to buy boost, or to produce boost as it was possible in Reus 1. This would make getting this achievement easier.

(I just failed it for the third time :recranky: )

You can do this without any quick save/load nonsense.

Start with Miner.

Create a small ocean (6 patches) and cover the rest of the planet in desert.

Build a city in the middle of the desert. Do the minimum required to complete the Miner's first objective, without reaching 5 technology.

Select desert for your first upgrade and take Ostrich, which gives you Mudcrack.

Place the next two cities on the edge of the ocean, again avoiding 5+ technology.

Select ocean for your second upgrade and take Tuna, which gives you Anchovy.

You now need to replace any placed biotica with Mudcrack / Anchovy, then spam the rest of the desert with Mudcrack and the ocean with Anchovy - being careful to reach 5 technology with the middle city first - which will invent Quality Ceramics.

The other cities can then reach 5+ technology too, allowing one of them to invent Dried Fish.

Once you can take level 3 upgrades (possibly by buying an extra upgrade or two), select Diamond and place one in the desert near the middle city.

Next you want Shipwreck, which should go in the area of ocean controlled by the city which invented Dried Fish.

Once that city creates its second invention, replace the Shipwreck with Anchovy and create a new Shipwreck on the other side of ocean.

Complete inventions and win.

You'll probably get Drilling Machines and Museum Piece before the desired Majestic items, but with 3 inventions in the middle city and 2 each in the others, you should get everything you need.

Finally !
Thank you @baz, I made a planet following your guidelines, and while I still struggled, I managed to get the 3 majestic items.

OK, now, what's left to do in this game... :sphere:

Congrats.

In fairness to the previous posters, my method has only been possible since the latest content update added Shipwreck, which arrived before I attempted to acquire the achievement. I haven't studied the possibilities for other biomes, so I don't know if there's a similar tactic that can be used elsewhere.

I have three achievements left to go, but as they are all rewards for repetition, I have decided to leave them until future content arrives with new things to do.

Can confirm for anyone tired of RNG that Baz's method works great!

This worked well for me too - just remember to expand to get the science you need - and pick tribes that benefit from element projects
