The modding community is one of the best parts of the Arma series, the devs make a solid base and good tools and allow collective imagination to do its thing. Don't limit yourself to the base game as you'll miss out on so much.

Honestly I'm that odd person that prefer's Arma Reforger unmodded. Don't get me wrong I've had a ton of fun on modded servers but I always end up reverting back to basics.

Are the developers giving us a show room with this engine? That would be neat.

In 2014 I was diagnosed with PTSD and during my CBT sessions my psychologist suggested playing games to help alleviate symptoms and distract from reality which helped a lot in getting through the harder moments of my life. I've played games for fun since I was a kid, but never realised how much they actually helped with mental health when used alongside treatments until the past decade. I wasn't in the military, so the Arma 3 environment wasn't a trigger but I couldn't use mods like TFAR because the squelch of the radio would actually put me into a panic on bad days, overloading with anxiety limiting my milsim capability which was unfortunate but that's how things are with PTSD. Some days are easy, and others are not and because of the lack of understanding a lot of people were quick to judge within the community. These days things are much better in terms of people understanding but there's still more to be done and I love that you guys are bringing the mental health aspect into the light again and supporting the community in Reforger as you always have done in previous titles.

Also side note: Official servers 64 player cap when? Don't think we don't notice they are 64 already, just because the server browser caps at 48, when you join a full official conflict server it shows 48/64

Arma community has the best modders.

Pick a few choice mods such as RHS and Shrapnel and you are good to go.

Loved the ACE mods for Arma2 and 3 so I hope they make a return for Reforger.

I'm not a modder, but I think it is so great that Bohemia is doing so much to encourage modders that make amazing content for the game - and especially bringing attention to real life issues. Can't wait to see what comes from this competition!
