Is it me or BI actually released version 1.0 to make this deluxe edition?

This is the part where they said

"Hey we actually had some DLC lined up to try and milk extra cash from players but we have done sooooo poorly here that we are actually gonna just give you it for free if you own the game to try and appease your valid concerns about how we mugged you all off and are constantly shifting the goal posts, plus we defo aint gonna sell any more standard packages due to all your negative reviews so we may as well not hold out much hope of selling these deluxe editions cos all the people who might buy such an edition have already bought in and we failed them so...here...merry forking christmas you bunch of plebs"
