Fix the Fall Damage System – It’s Ridiculous!

Alright, devs, we need to talk about the fall damage system in ARMA Reforger. I just jumped off a small tent—yes, a small tent—and somehow ended up severely injured and down for 9 minutes. Let me remind you: I'm supposed to be a military operator, not someone who crumbles at the slightest tumble.

This is supposed to be a military simulator. Operators in the field are trained to handle much worse than falling 3 feet off a tent. Right now, it feels like we’re playing as porcelain dolls. Even with all the gear and conditioning, we go down like it’s the end of the world.

What Needs Fixing:

Reduce fall damage severity: Falling from low heights shouldn’t be catastrophic.
Adjust recovery times: Nine minutes on the ground for a minor fall is absurd.
Improve realism: We’re combat-trained, not fragile civilians. Factor in some durability!
I love the game, but this system completely breaks immersion and fun. It’s hard to take it seriously when my operator goes down harder than someone slipping on ice.

Suggestions for Improvement:

Add a sliding scale for fall damage based on height and terrain.
Shorten recovery times for smaller injuries or allow teammates to assist faster.
Anyone else tired of this?

never had that happened, you probably sprint jumped into a lower area

although we need splints, there is no way i'm waiting so long just to fix my impaired movement or accuracy

I did sprint jump possibly ill re-watch my recording but regardless i do agree it is excessive!

Bro did all this formatting but I bet he was single-handedly eating up the entire supply budget and carrying 80 kilograms of gear

Falling 2 metres while carrying additional 25 kg is already rough on the knees...
