mods fail when downloading... help

I bought this game a few days ago, I've been trying to download mods for it and I can't, I tried reinstalling the anticheat, allowing it from Windows, and it still doesn't work, adding that if I want to play I can't save the game, much less load it...

also that I get 900+ ping in my client, I spent 5 hours in the game trying to get it to install a mod, and I can't even ask for a refund, you are my last hope of being able to play this game...

I get this problem too, the only thing that I could think of is that the mods have not be updated to the most recent game version???

If you have 999+ ping, u probably downloading something, perhaps mods downloading in the background after all?! Some mods are big and the downloading speed is not so fast.

Also, i noticed some mods do not show how big the download is, or even the downloading status, so i need to open downloading tab again to see.

The downloads directly fail, it's not that they start and after a certain percentage of download they are cancelled, at this point I lost hope of being able to download mods...

Id google an internet speed tester and just see if it looks okay. Can try a fresh reinstall.

It could honestly not even be a problem on your end this game is weird. I think some of the modded servers have different providers so idk if that has anything to do with it?

What servers also are you trying?

I get dced all the time and today was extra jank, couldnt even load into a server it would just bug out and I was playing it last night.

Make sure you got plenty of space as well. The game says only 20gb but I think mine is around 60-80gb with the mods of a bunch of servers. Can probably keep lower if lock in to a few servers.

Id give it a try here and there but dont beat your head against a wall troubleshooting. Can also try the latin am discord see if anyone in your region had similar issues but I doubt thats an issue. Yall can play dota over here, should be good with anything else.

If an individual MOD fails. Goto "Documents>My Games>Arma Reforger>addons" and Remove that specific mod and redownload it. Works every time for me.

If you keep having this problem the only fix i found is literally using vpn, once you use vpn no problem at all, that or you can sit hitting download over and over again and hope it connects and downloads one or two mods before giving same error

Had this problem too. Fixed by closing the error window, then clicking the download icon at the top right to download mod updates.

I have been having this issue for the past week, my ping is set to 900+ so i got a VPN and the lowest i can get it down to is around 550, which won't let me download any mods. i ran a download speed and thats at 320 mbs. I tried deleting the addons folder but when i try to run the game with that folder deleted it gives me an error that something is missing, which forces me to fix the files missing in order to run the game.
