From what I understand, you pick up your C4, place it down wherever you need to, then according to what I saw in a gameplay you hold a detonator in your hand and scroll with your mouse wheel until you see the option to arm it with a detonator, not timed fuse. Then I suppose you put your detonator on your "quick access" tab or however is it called, basically so you could pres "4, 5, 6, 7 ..." and get it out, then press LMB and it detonates.
It's just me guess tho, since I believe that would make the most sense, and I did see someone play around with it so yea, I think it works somewhat like that.
Its the fact that the detonate key and reload key are both ''R'' meaning it will detonate bombs instead of doing these other actions. However there is no specific keybinding option within the settings.
