Any chance Bohemia is going to add Nvidia DLSS to the game? I think it would boost FPS enormously

Doesn´t look like it´s of much importance for BI to add DLSS to Reforger.

It would be nice though because the option we have now, internal resolution scaler + FSR, is just rubbish.

For now, if you have a nvidia gpu and want to have a better performance without sacrifying too much of the picture clarity, you are better off using Nvidia NIS resolution. (although, that means you have to change/lower your desktop resolution everytime before you launch Reforger due to no actual Fullscreen support in the game).

UE is the end of quality games. UE is the answer to an industry that wants to cut costs on every corner. And to everyone whos paying a bit attention thats also quite obvious.

Thank god it doesnt, because according to linked channel above its just a hot unoptimized mess.

The first post I made, it was a long post to try and help people with Performance issues while maybe teaching people at the same time. I like to help and maybe people can learn something.

Then I just said 1 thing that wasn't meant to be anything bad, I even said I liked the game and it looks pretty good to me.

"This game is an older engine and not UE5 so its not the best looking game around, but for what it is looks pretty good to me."

I guess this triggered someone for some reason, I have no idea. All I said was the truth.

Actually what we've got here it is not an actual game but a brand new engine in development and public testing, this is the sole purpose of ArmA Reforger, otherwise we're all be playing ArmA4 right now.
Stating this, the answer is: nope this isn't an older engine but a brand new one in active development.
You did not triggered anyone, you were just wrong in the first place.

Considering that Majority use Nvidia RTX cards, that's not good: i'd say BAD.
Pretty annoyed to find out that's no DLSS option in the game.
I'd say even almost unexpected for a modern product.
BAD
Enjoy your fake frames bb.

What´s up with the "fake frames" talk when someone brings up DLSS? Is this the current trend of hardcore AMD fans now? Is this the newest hate-wave "hip" nerds have to surf on this month?
And why exactly do you have a problem with the idea of an OPTIONAL GRAPHICS SETTING you can either turn ON or OFF?

Anyways.
No need to worry for you folks. No DLSS for now.

they are jealous that you can get free frames with a weak card

pretty much they are butthurt because their 4090s are becoming useless with each game that has DLSS, so they make alt accounts to talk crap about dlss to stop devs from implementing it
Im on AMD 6700xt and LOVE the frame generation from Losless Scaling. Mindblowing how that works so well from a 3rd party dev and most times better than the ingame fg options and better than the fg from AMD Adrenalin

Thats cool and all, but since OP was talking about "boosting fps" i´m pretty sure he meant the DLSS-super-resolution and not the FrameGeneration setting.

Either way, if they could implement DLSS3.5 (with FG) or upwards in the game then the DLSS-super-resolution would be included anyways.
So, whatever... lets hope BI can modernize their brandnew game engine somehow, lol.

It is outdated compared to other engines in a sense that It doesn't or can't currently have anything higher than FSR 1.0. FSR 1 is so outdated, its not even funny. If you read above someone even posted a picture that explains fsr 2 or 3 can't work or even dlss currently.

Just because something comes out in 2025 now for example doesn't mean its New Tech, if it's still utilizing old technology and older coding.

That program is pretty cool if you need / want some extra frames.

What does your 6700xt get approx in medium preset at 1080 or 1440p native no upscale? I was just wondering. What cpu do you have?

I run an amd gpu too its a 6900XT overclocked to stock 6950xt with a 5800x3d.

The game runs great for me, I normally run 1440p Native with High preset or High + a couple things higher. I have tried 4K upscaled using the FSR method and it still runs good.
Singleplayer Szenario
5600x|6700xt @1920x1080 medium preset 100% reso almost 90 fps.
But imo looks to bad. I can go to high preset and even increase some settings and get above 60 fps. When i than set resoltuion to 70% with Fidelity FX enabled, lock fps to 60 and than use Losless Scaling and double them to smooth 120 fps. Looks amazing and runs amazing.
