Why to players die so easily and AI take some many shots to kill?

When I shoot the enemy AI, I am required to use half or 3/4 of my clip to kill an enemy AI. They shoot me once or twice and I die immediately... What is up with that?

probably a network related issue in arma reforger. It's also present in Arma 3 but not nearly as bad lol

If the AI are anything like the other Arma game's AI, they get almost guaranteed headshots, whilst you as a player do not. Headshots do far more damage and rarely fail to one-shot kill unless you're wearing a helmet, so as a result it feels like the AI do more damage when really they just has BS accuracy.
