How do you change loadout?

Im new to the game, should i spawn at the start base? or how do i start, where do i see myself on the map? i need some tips

Try too look where the players are @ and whats the objective area. Spawn in as close as possible make sure the base has a armory for your loadout. Vanilla you cant see yourself on the map. You gotta learn to navigate by map and direction (compas)

You dont need to change your loadout by hogging supplies other players deliver.
Your objective right now is to learn the game, you can do that with vanilla loadout.
