Possibility of destroying enemy bases

Hey folks,

is it possible to destroy enemy bases on the official servers by dismantling them with the showel or blowing them up with c4?

I was sure i have seen an video with those two options availiabe.
Anyway: Yesterday i planted 2-3 C4 on an refuel-station. Explosion did no visible damage. Trying to dismantle the buildings with the showel was also not successfull.

Has anyone done this before?

Its possible to dismantle structures placed by the command tent board with a shovel in hand if you are capturing the base, however some players build certain structures like radio relay a little bit out of bounds to make players unable to dismantle.
If youre trying to prioritize which structures to dismantle i would go for the radio relay > living quarters > heavy vehicle depot so the enemy will only spawn at the command tent unless theres structures like a dugout/hut like in Tyrone on Everon

Ah oke, but the base needs to be in an area within my radio distance? So its not possible to land far behind enemy lines to destroy the things? (Because than, you are not capturing)

Yes it has to be within radio distance with the pop up on the top of your screen stating "friendly forces are capturing this base", if for any moment an enemy spawns on the base while you are dismantling, it will interrupt the process

Oke thanks. Because i was dropped behind enemy lines with c4 and there was no result ;-)
