Will Bohemia Interactive ever give us a dedicated Vietnam game?

I wish Bohemia would not set this game during the Cold War. I enjoy the game and the mechanics are better than Arma 3 but there are still a lot of glitches and things to be ironed out and there feels like something is missing. Yes, we have Vietnam servers with tons of mods and Arma 3 had SOG, but I don't think I'm the only one who thinks a dedicated Vietnam game would do better than the Cold War. The Vietnam servers on Reforger are absolutely the most active, and the Vietnam servers on Arma 3 before the game started dying were the most active. I wish Bohemia realized this and would just do a full fledged game for an era in history that is hardly covered in the gaming industry, it just seems like a missed opportunity

Well, the Vietnam war was during the cold war, but I get what you mean.

No, I don't think we will ever see Arma set in Vietnam, and I doubt that BI will create a dedicated Vietnam game.

It would be cool if BI had the Savage Game Design team create a Vietnam game on the enfusion engine.

Vietnam isn't the most popular. Its the modern servers, WCS, DarkGRU, Eastern Ukraine servers. The vietnam one is not bad though.

Also Rising Storm 2 seems to have gotten a resurgence of players. That game is truly a dying simulator, holy crap.
Has gore.
Also very deadly, easy to die from one shot as long as its center mass or head shot. Only thing arma has over it is ground vehicles which in vietnam were not really used that much. Mostly helis and infantry with mortars and artillery. You can call in naplam strikes and everything.

Also, I know i'm gona get crapped on for saying this....

Gray Zone really has the best jungle fps environment i've ever played.
shooting through fooliage is very immersive, the leaves and bushes get whacked by bullets and move and sway and puff bits of leaves off.

the one in arma is fun at times though. they would need a jungle dlc expansion to add jungle assets which would probably double the vanilla size install so modders could make new jungle themed maps (african conflicts, south american, pacific islands) (not against this, prefer that over a desert environment update.)

the current vanilla stuff ingame is really just for a cold war gone hot scenerio 1980.
Basically the IRL reforger exercise hence the name.

my prediction for amra 4

its gona be a campaign that goes through time periods (just a dream)
like a cod blackops campaign lol

maybe start in the 80s, usa and russia declare war
goto 90s with a active war now and soviet union never broke up and they are pushing ahead with alot of tech they never made
usa is also using more tech and vechicles that got cancelled irl after the soviet union fell irl

then maybe a 3rd chapter would be a what if modern continuation of the war after nukes have been deployed. now we got basically a terminator post doomsday world to fight over

realistically this would take place in europe, but we can pretend for story the soviet got strong and stalemated us and got some south american govts to be proxy states and the war could have a south american front

also a alaskan/canadian front also

maybe china would enter the european theater to help soviet union fight europe/nato aswell since i doubt most of western europe would just not be engaged (french, gb) west germany would probably get oblierated intially in a what if, italy would just make canollis
