Sling weapon on chest

I sometimes manage to put my weapon to rest on my chest but recently it kept putting it in my back. Anyone knows why ? I tried all different kinds of guns, holsters, vests, tried putting on different uniforms and still would not let me do it

CTRL+Z or somethig like that.

There is a command for that.

The problem is that it wont let me sling the gun on my chest anymore. the character just puts it in his back and won't dont what i want him to do

Tab + Z will "holster" the rifle, slinging it.

Change to pistol. Character slings primary to chest. Holster pistol (Tab + Z). Nothing in hands now and primary across chest. You're Welcome.

He would still put it in his back for some reason (im losing my mind on this)

Not sure what to tell you. It works on release and experimental.

Lets start over.
Are you on a server with Mods? Do any of those mods change the way weapons behave?
Do you have 1 primary weapon or 2? Is the second able to be something besides a launcher?
I am suspecting you have a mod changing what is going in.

Delete all the mods, then try in single player mod free. See if this is still the case.
Using free look, I can see my gun slung on my front side with no issue.

It seems that a mod was installed without me noticing (somehow never dowloaded mods before) that was causing this issue. I figured out the mod section on the main menu and was able to delete everything, as i'm a strict vanilla player. Thank you very much for your help, now my weapons goes on my chest

Sometimes it is the simple things that end up solving the issues.
Glad you were able to get it worked out.

Not sure if you are aware, mods will download themselves when you join a modded server, so make sure to check for them periodically.

Well nevermind... Went for solo, uninstalled EVERY mod i had and still......

After testing i found out that our character would sling the gun on his chest after putting out an utility (like a grenade for exemple) while the gun is still in our hands. Unless you drop al of your main weapons, you should be good to go.
