Does this have a coop campaign?

You can create coop scenarios or just join a server togheter. There's no campaign like in ARMA 3

Technically there isn't a campaign per se. But, Combat Ops Everon is a Resistance against Russians type of mission where you play as the Resistance and have the clear the island of the Russians and capture bases. You and a friend can play it up to 16 people I think? I think it's pretty good and fun. Just host it like you would a server from in the game, then a friend can join you. Just password it so you don't get randoms coming in and ruining your fun.

This is all I want to do, play this mode with my friends (It harks back to the Resistance days) But all I get when me and my friends try to join each other is 'reason=3' and we cant join each other, Its insanely infuriating. Iv tried port forwarding to no avail, I need help. I cant be the only one.

Arma Reforger will not get an official COOP/singleplayer campaign. However, it is possible to create scenarios and upload them to the Workshop, and several such scenarios are already available. You may also hop in and play Combat OPs, which provides a dynamic game mode for COOP play.
