Land Mines & Vote Kick System

This latest Reforger update is amazing and the performance is the best its ever been. I was having an insane amount of fun playing on a full 100 player server on Arland with relatively few crashes, but there is still a few glaring issues.

1. Trolls have begun abusing land mines by placing them in spawn and then shooting them, killing dozens of players, over and over again. The developers implemented a system where if you team kill you get demoted and you can't spawn vehicles, however you can still continue to grab more landmines and repeat the cycle. I suggest they ban renegade ranks from being able to grab more landmines to discourage trolls.

2. The current vote kick system is terrible, it needs to be revamped. When I hold "P" to vote someone off, there's no way of telling if my vote was confirmed or not. It was a nightmare for so many of us to collectively vote kick someone off. Despite dozens of players yelling to each other to vote kick the troll off the server, it never ended happening.

The vote kick system should be simple where you click one button, it displays how many people are voting "Yes" to kick said player, and that's it. Holding a button is ridiculous and annoying.

Other than that, the game is moving forward into a great direction, it just needs to combat the trolls.

That's amazing how we posted minutes apart, I agree with some of your points but more specifically I was actually thinking the same exact thing where it displays how many team kills said player has! Great minds think alike! :)

It's crazy that trolls continue to run rampant in this game. This thread was created in May and it's the middle of November now. Still there is no effective vote kick system and no way to vote for an admin to ban trolls. This is a serious problem in this game and it is extremely common.
