Learn how to create basic mods, if you do not know how already.
Then learn 3d modeling if you do not know how already.
Once those are ready, the math is not to hard.
I built a website for my squad to use, for an artillery mod before we had mortars.
It did not take height into account, but it would get you close enough to get you first round impacts in the area.
It showed the Azimuth and the arc angle to set the cannon's on.
It was not to complex. just build out a grid, set it to the map grid size, then do point to point calculations.
Once you have this, you can show this map in a "Computer screen" on the game, basically an interactive map.
