custom base build with prefab Help!

Tinkering with creating custom structures/bases using game assets in the prefab library. im very new to this. I can make my 'fort' [for lack of a better word]. But cannot figure out how to save just the build and create it as a mod to then spawn it in as game master. Is this even possible????
