Mod Storage
Why does Arma Reforger place their mods in a different storage drive from the rest of the game? The reason i ask is because i have Arma R on one of the bigger drives i have, but yet the mods go to the boot drive, which i don't have much space on at the moment, i have plenty of mods for arma 3 and to my knowledge there on the same drive as the base game. if im doing something wrong please let me know but it kinda makes the game harder to play with friends because not everyone like 70s cold war.

Arma Reforger’s mod storage setup is annoying as hell. By default, it dumps mods onto your boot drive (usually under the Documents or AppData folder) instead of sticking with the game installation drive. You’re not doing anything wrong it’s just how the system works right now.

To fix it, you can manually set a custom path for mod storage:
1. Go to the Reforger Launcher and navigate to Settings.
2. Look for an option like Mod Storage Path or Data Directory, and point it to a folder on your bigger drive.

If that doesn’t work (because Bohemia’s UI can be a bit unreliable), try creating a symbolic link (symlink) to redirect the mod folder. Google how to make a symlink on Windows’ it’s pretty straightforward and saves you from running out of space.

You’re definitely not alone here, though. It’s a common complaint for Reforger players.

Hope this helps dude ✌️☮️✌️
