Ridiculously high ping?

Wondering if anyone has a similar issue. All servers show my ping at 300+ and if i click on the network icon at the top of the main menu the game tells me my ping to Arma servers is >500. I have gigabit internet and connected via cat6 cable to my PC which has the latest LAN drivers installed. Arma seems to be the only game that has this issue.

So long as you aren't actually experiencing actual 500ping lag when playing it is a graphical glitch. It shows mine as the same but no lag. Reddit has a few things on it about being a glitch.

Been having a issue kinda like the one you are talking about where before the new update i was able to play just find then after the update i cannot download mods nor load into any servers when i check the server state they are all fine but my ping is 999 guessing they broke something on the backend again so just hoping they fix it soon or that someone else finds a fix as i have been looking since the update and still no such luck. https://ibb.co/Fq0Wwxk

Same all servers are 270-600 ping, when im on a eu server in game i only have 15 ping.. strange how they dont fix this

For me, turning off my firewall on private networks INSTANTLY took me from 999+ ping to 146. Maybe worth a try if you have it enabled.

YOU ARE THE ABSOLUTE GOAT! I've been dealing with this the entire time I've had this game, I was on a public network at home. I selected it wrong when I setup my internet. It must not like public wifi settings for downloading mods.

Firewall/AllowApp/ChangeSettings/addOther/<find the exe seen in Taskmanager e.g.ArmaReforgerSteam.exe>

In my case that one was NOT present in the firewall list!

But im not sure if it got better afterwards...on my end its probably my ISP (last node before home is overloaded at specific times i guess)
