where do mods download to

They download to C drive My doccuments.
\Documents\My Games\ArmaReforger\addons

Hope this helps :).

This really annoys me i try to keep my C drive clean i hope that its changed to the games install location instead.

Edit: Hope that mods can pin this so others can find it easy so it hopefully reduces the amount of times it has to be answered.
