btw, no i dont have that problem.
Yeah...i know, not everyone having those issues. Would be nice to know, what causes it.
I read about some guys having fps issues, because of their HOTAS. But i don't have any joysticks....so thats not my issue here.
If u do the same with high it will work fine for a hour but with ultra settings it will fine at start but after sometime it will start bug out.
I think it happens when your killed and respawn back in happened to me 2 times. Now i just play in High settings with some in ultra.
I thought it might be getting max rammed thats why its lagging but after seeing your specss its a bug.
And why the hell use Fidelity F X Super Resolution on a video card with an NVIDIA chip that has better DLSS technology???
Regarding the subsidence of fps after some time, yes there is such a problem. My computer is weaker than yours, but not much. I think they just haven't optimized their game. Have you noticed that the game does not remove a technique that no one uses for a long time?
By the way, this is a well-known ARMA problem, the creators of ARMA Live servers use special scripts that remove all the garbage that players scatter all over the map, including cars.
Alt/Tab isn't changing anything for me. Only restarting is fixing the bug.
I was checking GPU-Z again and the only thing i know is, that my VRAM is running full over time, but stays at 7,6 / 8 GB max. When the lag is starting, everything stays as intended...gpu clock speed everything fine...gpu load still 100%....but the overall board power draw (GPU) says 110W, instead of 200W i normally have, which is weird. I only have those issues in ARMA Reforger...not in any other game.
What is 2K resolution for you? 2560x1440? I'm playing on ultrawide. So its 3440x1440 or 2580x1080 (75% scaled) for me. But i gain 20+ fps, when changing to the lower resolution. DLSS is not in the game..even with a RTX card. I only can use FX Super Resolution, when downscaling.
Indeed, it never worked for me, glad to see that I'm not alone xD
Anyway it's normal, they have reported this as a known issue on the game's website.
They will fix it!
Just a question, after how much gametime do you start facing the issue?
To me it seems random time.
Here are some stats i recorded with GPU-Z. First, those are some stats, when everything works as intended (after ~20 Min. of playtime) and after are some stats, when the game is starting lagging like ♥♥♥♥ (in this case exactly after 60 mins). The only difference, i would say, is the "VRAM usage" (even, if its not completely full) and the "board power draw":

So, that is what i only saw. The overall board power draw is always around 200W, and dropping on 114W, when the lag is starting. But i never saw this behave in any other game...so my GPU should be fine. But why is my ARMA Reforger doing that? And why is the VRAM usage so different? I mean its 3GB more usage after 40 extra minutes. I think its somehow related to the vram usage...pretty sure.
Would be nice to know, if someone with much vram, like f.e. RTX 3080 Ti, RTX 3090 or AMD 6700/6900XT have the same fps drops after some time. If its related to the vram usage, than those guys should've been fine for hours!?
What is your gpu and resolution? 4 hours with no issues, sounds like a lot of vram or very small resolution?
