Thhe game work same for the Workshop. Do changes such as changing mods,, game need to restart or it will most likeley ctd with no error report. Same if you play on 1 modded server with x y and z mods then connect to a server with a b and c mods and you don't restart (quit to desktop) you most likeley will encounter a error or CTD. This is how the Game engine reads ands store's mods. Some say the loadorder is importand... we game reads them in all at once in several threads (like all in conflict is game mode, all mods and functions are read in alphabetical map folder order. so using several mods that changing same things is not a good idea nor a mod that suppose to change another mod.... Mods that add things is unaffected.
