Recent hitching, stuttering, and freezing.

The game used to run great for me. Logged in one day this week and now the game hitches and stutters to the point it will freeze up, which I will have ti wait until the game "catches up" and then play normally for a few minutes then back to the hitching/stuttering downward spiral. Anyone else experiencing similar issues?

@Snafu_77 - I'm guessing you've got a Nvidia card? If so, that's the reason. 1.2 broke Nvidia cards' capability of running the game. i'm hoping they fix it soon

I have an Nvidia card, as do all the others in our group. It's a Mixture of 4090, 3090, 3080,3070 and 3060. Not seeing these issues.

How long ago is "used to run great for me". Was is before the most recent version?

Huh. That's really interesting. Do you have any more details on that or anywhere I can probably go read up more about that? I've got a 4090 and 5800X3D. Playing in 4k, this game sometimes surprises me with how it chugs, at times. Not unplayable, but definitely something that'd be nice to have improved.

Its very rare for me to notice any stutter, I'd first check my network metrics and make sure its not ping variance causing some kinda desync.

By stutter do you mean sudden loss in fps?

So I have now started noticing a stutter. I watch FPS at 144 and it does not drop during the anomaly. This started we after the previous update.

Have you determined the cause of this issue or a potential work around? I have a friend who is experiencing this as well. He sent me a couple videos, his FPS doesn't drop but the game stutters hard for a couple seconds and keeps occurring seemingly randomly until he restarts, but then he's back in the queue. His specs are: 9800X3D, RTX 4080 Super FE, Gskill 6000 mhz

I dont know why, but opening EVGA Precision X and maxing out my power target stopped my stuttering on a 9800x3d and 3090.

I found that it is a sound issue. I play every game no problem. But when sonar is set to some settings. Sound gets mixed up and i have pc freezes.

I have a full AMD build. Happens to me as well. I can play 45-60 minutes then i get a massive FPS drop and slideshow for a couple minutes, Keeps happening to me until i restart. So its not just Nvidia.
