FPS Drops making game unplayable

For some reason over the last 1-2 weeks, I have been getting horrible frame rate drops. I run on medium/low settings and can easily get between 110-150+ frames most of the time. It's ran like butter for close to a month now. But now I'm getting insane frame drops down to sub 30 at random intervals. There's no rhyme or reason, And have really noticed it bad over the last week or so.

I'm not normally bothered by occasional frame dips, or really most technical issues. But what the heck is going on? I love the game. But I'm about to uninstall and put this game down as a result, it's occurring like 1-4 times per minute and it's driving me absolutely up a frickin wall.

I'm on an SSD, and I've tried modifying my settings, changing the frame display (windowed -> borderless), changing frame rates, vsync, other graphics settings, I've updated my driver, installed and uninstalled the game itself. But nothing seems to be working. I haven't/did not change anything prior to this occurring, and it's really come up out of nowhere.

I'm not getting any kind of issues in other games (like HLL), and I booted that up just in case it was a hardware issue, but I'm noticing anything out of the ordinary.

Ugh. I'm so pissed off with this, and instead of having a chill evening before work tomorrow, I've been dickering for the last 3+ with this, and I'm still no closer. WTH.

change max fps to 60 and use lossless scaling to double it.

Same, I also have stuttering. I have changed graphics settings, driver settings, BIOS settings, can't seem to fix it. I hate it, makes the game feel horrible to play.

If you have AMD CPU/Software, try switching to performance. quality has image sharpening stuff. only tried this for a hour or 2 but seems to work better. guessing intel may have similar stuff if your not AMD. My graphics card is NVIDIA and i haven't played with that really.

same and besides some slow down in server response
official servers become unplayable for some reason for me, but before recent updates game runs perfect

Same for my kid.. he has amd cpu and a better video card 3050 and frame drops to 10 fps after around 5 minutes on an empty multiplayer server. Then stays that way and has to quit. Singleplayer works fine and doesn't do that big fps drop.

I have a 2070 and an Intel cpu and mine doesn't do this fps drop at all. Maybe it's because of the amd?

So far I'm only playing Conflict and after 30 minutes or so my frames drop to 1 fps and stays there until I ALT+F4. I have a 3070ti and AMD 5800 something.

Same here, I just got the game few days ago, first game on multiplayer server, and randomly I have that terribly fps drop that force me to leave and reconnect. It can run fine like one or two hour (or less) and then it happen. I don't know what to do.

I managed to solve the problem few minutes after switching the fps limits and the randomly but it happened once again.

Are u running an AMD processor?

Game is unplayable for me as well on a 4080 super/13900k i9/32gb DDR5. Cant fly helis cause the frame drop is super bad i keep crashing cause the game pauses every time i fly over a forest or base.

I have the same exact issue and its driving me insane, can't find a single fix for it. I have a 4080 Super, i9 14900k, 32gb ddr5 @ 6000mhz, 1gb internet, windows 11, and all i have are SSD's. The game was fine for awhile on my favorite server, then one day they had an update and after that i can no longer enjoy attack helis or driving fast. Else i just end up flying into the ground or driving into a tree. It'll be smooth, then it suddenly pauses and completely freezes my game for a second and then returns to normal. This happens roughly every 10-20 seconds. I've done everything you can possibly imagine, but to no avail. Latest driver, updated windows, updated bios, ive tried lowering settings even though i shouldnt have to. The owner of the server i play on had me download an old driver from April 30th, it fixed the issue, but then I updated my gpu for anther game and it went back to doing the same crap. If someone has the answer please tell us.

I'm on an i7 940 with only 9 GB of ram and a Nvidia GTX 1070 underclocked and I had this same issue and all I ended up doing was dropping the draw distances. It didn't change what I could see much but it got the fps drops to stop for me in the multiplayer servers. Didn't have an issues getting 90+fps in single player with a ton of AI and assets spawned but multiplayer was dropping down to crazy lows and was unplayable. I didn't think to adjust these for some reason till after several days of trying to figure it out. I am sure this has something to do with the last update but try and adjust those down and see if it helps you out. You guys all have way better systems than I do so you should be able to get it going again if you try this out.
