Game settings not saving

Every time i start the game, i will need to go to Video settings and for example set Gras draw distance to 75m. I have to do this a couple of weeks now, since last update.

What i tried to fix:
Try to edit config files to hard set the Gras draw distance.
Remove the game.
Delete all left over content in my documents.

Anyone knows a fix?

Sidequest: I have the same problem with the vPad but of course thats a mod and not part of the original game. I need to disable vPad map everytime so i get normal map instead of that clumpsy iPad thing.

So i edited the config file

~/Documents/My Games/ArmaReforger/profile/.save/[random_numbers]/settings/ReforgerEngineSettings.conf

And changed this part:

 GrassMaterialSettings GrassMaterialSettings "{622526041F5AB6A5}" {
  Distance 150
  Lod 1

into

 GrassMaterialSettings GrassMaterialSettings "{622526041F5AB6A5}" {
  Distance 75
  Lod 1 

And now the game remembers this setting (grass distance = 75) correctly.
Wasn't that hard after all.

annnnnd it's back again haha somehow the game changed it back to 150 again whaha.

No it appeared again. Especially the grass distance which i want at 100m but every time i restart the game its 150m.
