GPU Hang crash persists???

Does anybody at Bohemia ever read these posts???

The GPU Hang crash is STILL occurring and has been doing so since update 1.2. Even after multiple patches, including today's one, it is STILL happening and there is STILL no acknowledgement, not even a single reply to say "Hey, we are aware of this crashing issue with certain NVIDIA GPUs."; there is radio ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ silence about this issue and it is still affecting people from playing the game.

It's as if the issue is being ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ignored, hoping that people who are being affected by it will stop playing the game and stop talking about it eventually, because if that's what the aim is then it's certainly ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ going as expected.

I have reported it to Bohemia multiple times since the first 1.2 patch and nothing has been said about it, the 'Known Issues' page on the game's website STILL does not have it listed.

I paid for this game and I expect issues encountered that I am raising to be acknowledged at the very ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ minimum, not flat out ignored as it quite seems to be. I cannot go one match without this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 'GPU Hangs!' crash occurring, vanilla server or modded server.

Get your ♥♥♥♥ together and tell your development lead to stop treating this like a tech demo because like it or not, it is marketed as a fully released product and it must be treated like such instead of left with numerous bugs and crashes.

I have a 4090 and until a few days ago, never had this issue. I tracked it down to my surveillance software that I just installed a few days prior. I have it set to use my GPU for AI detection of movement. So I stop that service when I play Reforger and it has not happened again.

You have to start somewhere. Start by closing any and all unnecessary programs and see if the issue persists. If it stops, then great and now just figure out which one. If not, then at least you have eliminated those processes from being the issue.

I agree with the author. After the last update, this error started appearing for me. Previously, everything froze and sagged.
Now it freezes and throws out with an error Gpu Hang.

It is surveillance software and it uses the GPU to processes the video for AI detection of motion, what is being detected, like a person, dog, bicycle, car, etc..

A cheating software to let you see movement better? Most people probably dont have that installed lmao.

Update: I have found a fix for this.

Deleting ReforgerEngineSettings.conf file seemed to stop this specific crash.

I have trialled this fix for well over a month now and have only ever had one GPU Hang crash ever since, so it's thankfully been successful.

The file was found in Documents/MyGames/ArmaReforger/profile/.save/app1874880_user76561198119474089/settings

If anyone is still trying to troubleshoot, double-check that your ram is getting enough voltage. I had to bump mine up by a few milivolts and now I no longer have any crashes.
