DLSS 2/FSR 2 is needed

as title says the game is in desperate need of a proper upscaling implementation, I'm on a 13900k and 4090 and struggling to maintain a stable fps.

the whole game is badly optimized, bohemia seems to not care, the system requirements says 1070 and some otther weaker things, my pc can't even get good fps in this, even if my pc isn't top tier but with a ryzen 5600x and a 3060 and 32 gig ram i feel i should have at least arround 80 fps on high settings, hell even on everything on low it can stay on even 60 fps, prioritize things right bohemia

my settup should be able to run the game in 1440p as well,

what dude u aint runnin much at 1440p with a 3060 at a decent gfx lvl and a decent fps looool

7800x3d, and a 4090 and I'm playing 3440x1440 at well over 120 with no upscaling. The game/tech demo isn't finished, optimizations are the last thing to be done.

you have no clue how stuff works dude, since my stuff works perfectly fine in 1440p, the game is badly optimized and that's a fact, im not saying i should run 180fps, but my system should easily have around 60-80 fps at least on medium or high, even on lowest settings my fps is not good, and if you learnt to check around a little more people have same problem no matter hardware.

Educate yourself before talking, and there is many games i can play in 1440p so how much you wanna bet?

Arma is notoriously unoptimized but is a very playable game at 20fps surprisingly its one of the only games i could tolerate at a low fps

i get 80+ fps in 128 slot servers on 1440p running 4070ti and 13700k bruh

no, i get 100+ fps on a 3060ti and a crappy i5 Cpu, full ultra settings, 3060 is best for 1080p, 1440p is pushing

Sorry but the most player are much to stupid to configure the game. Reforger is not very good optimized,thats true.
But when all set the setting on high or ultra and play in 4K they must not wonder about low frames.
Ok i play "only" on fullhd with a rtx 4060. My frames are ca 120-140 frames. But i limit my frames to 100 (ini-files of the game)


ISo many player dont know about the function of the different grafic settings. So many settings you have no a big different between low and very high. With high world detail for example you see only a few branches at a high distance.

With other words: With the right settings you have not a big different in gragic-quality,but a big performance-boost.
And use FSR. Set your native resolution to 70% and you will get a lot of more frames.

To play with constant frames is (for me) more enjoyable too. The game have to big frame-limiter-steps,so i limit my frames with the ini-files of reforger to 100 (important without the
"100". You must set the frames only so: 100-

And 4K is for me only a hype you dont need really in games. i play with 4X antialiasing too (could set to 8x too,but not a real different)

Ah and i forget: When limit your frames to 100 the graficcard will be quiter too.

But i think those tips will help some players too,but will not make here a full performance guide.

Again with the right settings you can have a smooth gameplay in reforger. Sure reforger is not a fast actionshooter.
But all (older) players know very well that operation flashpoint and later the arma serie are game they N E V E R run on max settings.
But so many of the newer playergeneration set all on max with theit expensive NASA-PC and whine when the game not run well.

Fullhd is not so bad like so many players think they better believe every hype.

But this tips here will will work for 4K player too i think. A very big boost is FSR. The combination to set 70% native resolution and FSR is very great,you see not a big quality-different but become a lot of more frames.
