God awful ping

Bought the game today. After downloading it all the servers are in the 280-500 range. I'm in NA and even NA servers are high. Nothing is below 200, sometimes 500. When I join a server my ping drops to 30

If i use Wifi instead of ethernet cable, the pings are higher than when i just use my pc cabled. Also, check your network topology. Is there a Firewall or fancy router that does QoS? Or a firewall rule that uses deep packet inspection and other tools? In that case, make a separate rule on top that's just for your gaming device in particular. Without any fancy scanning and dpi.

Then why does my connection on servers consantly break off and feels like trash in general ?

And why to they remove the thread in which I was asking whats going on ?

Similar, not always in the mentioned range, though
Speed tests seem fine while connecting to different servers in other software

Having the same issue. but soon as i get connected I'm mostly fine besides having the basic normal Arma problems.
