That is part of the crossplay experience. Grown ass salty US boys peppering some poor british for hours on end on the server I play. xD

Best to keep the radio off when you are not actively using it.

Agreed 100% there needs to be a volume control for this. Radio comms are much louder than prox voice.
I was honestly shocked to find this out after I bought the game. It's honestly kind of amazing the game doesn't have it. It's so bad, I end up turning the radio off 90% of the time just because it's so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ loud you can't hear anything else.

Being able to easily mute other players and also have them see a list of all who had muted them would be great. I recently left a server a friend had joined due a lot of people with the mentality of 12 year olds, bickering over...well, something that 12 year olds would argue over. It was mostly U.S players mouthing off but but I'm not saying this is always the case. There were some Brits there too, that I would have muted aswell.
I cba listening to all that stuff so just left for another server and told my mate to follow if he wanted to. If they aren't arguing over something, they're people who think they're natural born comedians. Most of them make Amy Schumer seem hilarious.

Just drop the radios and use team typed chat. I use discord to chat with real friends and if there is a team thats using teamwork I may then keep my radio.

Soviet radio 3.0kg US radio 1.5kg. Between tossing your shoes and radios out you can save 5kg weight for ammo or other goodies.

Hopefully they will change things on PC so you can choose the output devices for different comms and game sounds. They need to make the sound more configurable in general.

This is great advice.
by the time you've held your radio and turned it down or turned it off you missed was what was being said already, I'm pretty sure any solder is capable of turning off a radio or adjusting the volume without having to hold it in there hands like an old man with really bad eye sight.

Not sure who is aware of this or not but.... You can put the radio in a quick slot. Then select it and hold R to inspect. You now have a button to switch off the radio.

This enables you to mute radio spam and still carry the device to switch back on if real tactical use is required.
Fake radio gave me real tinnitus.

Quicker to just hit G to open your radio wheel then hit (hold?) R to turn it off.
