cheating on koth-servers a thing?

So i purchased the game and had quite a lot of fun with it so far on the EU2-koth-server, which is good.

What i want to ask - is Anti-Cheat working in this game? because i had a very strange experience in the last round of getting shot to death 15 times in a row without even being able to see someone - it must have been close quarters combat with distances of 50 metres max., urban environment.

I am new to reforger but have 2000 hrs+ experience in dayz and arma 3 so i don't think that i would just not see enemies that often in a row before i go down, therefore my question.

maybe cheating but its also arma so idk, ive had some sus deaths but usually it was just someone hiding somewhere for 10 min waiting for you. ive also eliminated players who never even saw me because im that guy sitting and waiting for 10 min. just gotta look more because unlike dayz where you have a general idea of where players will be looking for loot, in reforger its kinda like a giant war sandbox. One team is capturing objectives while 2 dudes in discord are sitting in a corner drinking beer roleplaying a sniper team.
