Does anybody have any experience setting up vkb gladiator evos for helos?

I cant seem to even get the game to recognize the joysticks. any help would be appreciated

The game doesn't have joystick support, it may come it the future, but no ETA.

There are ways to get a joystick to work using 3rd party software, do a search for it on youtube.

I was trying to do some third party stuff and it really gave me some hassle. have you tried anything yet?

Best to just wait for support to be added, otherwise you are going to have to jump through some hoops and even afterwards it probably be lacking.

i have tried multiple but it doesnt quiete feel right, the 360 Controller remap worked best (your joystick will act as a 360) but even flying with mouse and keyboard feels better

You can use Joystick Gremlin + vJoy + x360ce to map as an Xbox 360 controller. But it's extremely janky. There's no absolute collective control and an awkward "baked in" curve for the cyclic making the controls feel unintuitive and unresponsive. On top of that x360ce has a pretty ridiculous perf hit, taking me from 100+ fps down to as low as 30 when doing any axis input.

They really REALLY should have made HOTAS support a priority considering the legacy of ARMA support. But their priority is pretty solidly console. Reforger is to ARMA what Bad Company was to Battlefield.
