The last 2 nights I was able to play for quite a few hours with no issues aside from “normal” game crashes.

Are the 48 player official servers down too?

I have been playing since Friday without a problem (other than the queues for the servers!).

yes, its over. BI caved and banned a slew of mods in exchange for the attack stopping. most of the RU vehicle IDs removed, bakhmut map, banned, two of the RU uniforms, banned and a slew of others. its honestly a shame.

They have banned all Ukraine war maps.

Is this actually true? Did they ban mods to get the attacks to stop?

BI previously told a modder to remove Russian vehicle IDs around the time the attacks first started. A modder was banned for monetizing their mods which is against Arma's TOS. They were an author of a popular Ukraine map and drone mod. I still see other Ukraine maps in the server browser so I don't think it was all Ukraine maps.
Exactly what Sgt. Osiris said. The mods specificially didn't get banned, it was the Author that got banned which automatically results in his mods being removed from the workshop. BI discussed this on discord too.

The modders openly talk about their monetization. I don't know why people think a jester is a refutation of what I said. You could say BI is using "monetization" as an excuse and the ban was because of the ddos and I'd probably agree with you, but don't be a coward.

who is a coward and a jester? lol.

Right. you could be correct, but I doubt the cards just happened to fall perfectly inline with the hackers demands (outside of the bitcoin) weeks after them being unable to stop the DDoS.

But CDLC is also technically monetizing the mods?
I guess its a breach of TOS only if Bohemia doesnt get a piece of pie, who would have thought.
