Also weird that this only happens in Arma
i run a 4090 with 13900k
5-10 min when my pc starts to get hot crash
My CPU is at 90-95
No, sadly i have no idea how i can do that. Dont want to break things
i had the same with a 2080 had to try a bunch of drivers and someonepointed me to nvidia 555.85 since i have that installed no crashes anymore.
its the games fault for doing weird stuff its more then likley not your system
if it would be your cpu you would crash in other games/applications as well
only thing you can try is a different gpu driver until you find one that doesn´t crash arma
it may not be 555.85 for you.
Thanks a lot for the Awnser ! I will try this
90-95 degrees is way too much, this is probably your problem. Its easy to update your bios, just go to your motherboards website and download it then put it on a usb stick. Put the stick in your usb port some have a dedicated port for flash then use that. My friend have the 13900KS and he had alot of this problem in Space Marines 2. I helped him to set down the power limit in bios and then all problem was gone.
Hope this helps you.
It's only Arma
i tell you what, you break your CPU when u dont do the bios update.
because the 13th and 14th series have a problem and will break your cpu over time.
90-95 degrees in a game is way to high. clean your cpu fans, or radiator. apply new thermal paste. install new bios update.
did you check your temps by running cinebench r23 multicore test? or prime95?
