It is playable. It is perfectly possible to join games by using launch parameters. You just need the mods and the IP of the server.

if u cant make it through a week or two of ddos attack u would of never made it back when lizard squad was taking games offline weekly for the lulz. An attack of this magnitude takes time to sort out for many different reasons. I would explain in detail what some of those are but based off comments ive seen most ppl just dont have the technical knowledge to understand. Basically they are getting hit on multiple point withing their network. The attackers are using multiple types of attacks on multiple network layers. It takes time to isolate this to restore some network services while you work on a fix to either negate or reroute the malicious network traffic. This could take days. You also have to think this is costing them alot of money due to refunds paying IT overtime to work around the clock as well as diminished game sales. So i trust they are doin everything they can to fix the issue

You're an apologist that doesn't split your wall of text into paragraphs but you deem others too basic to understand the 'technical nature' of the attacks. Okay, well, first of all it hasn't been days it's been months. How long should it reasonably take? We are way past that point. BI need to just pay a DDoS protection service to route all their network traffic. How long does that take? A few days? A week? WE'RE WAY PAST THAT POINT ALREADY.

It's now a joke in poor taste at our expense. Any time spent by players trying to play reforger is WASTED TIME and it's Bohemia's fault. Not the attackers. Because they've had all the time in the world, they have the resources, but it's still not fixed. Why not? When am I allowed to start calling them out as incompetent? Something tells me apologists like you will always be there to make excuses for them even if this is still happening in another month from now.

All DDOS attacks are attacks on multiple fronts, that is how it works. It wouldn't be possible if the attacker didn't have multiple compromised devices hitting the server.

That's exactly me. Bought the game 3 days ago too at full price. Silly me, i didn't realize that this game has no offline content/single player like arma III. I thought it's okay, i'll learn about the multiplayer step by step instead. BUT THEN, it the hak attack came and no one can play this game at all.... kinda sucks, but I'll wait few days I guess

It has offline content. Just go in "Play", selecet one of the modes and make your choice from different scenarios.

Steam offers refunds for games bought within 2 weeks and has less than 2 hours playtime (Sometimes more, i've gone over 2 hours before and still got refunds)

sir its only been a few days, not months, not even a week, everyone was playing before the weekend no problem at all
