Some basic tips for playing Conflict mode solo

Whilst the main fun with Reforger is to be had playing multiplayer sessions, sometimes it is nice to practise or explore the Conflict mode alone. Here's what I have learned:

You have 2 options to begin a Conflict game alone: (Everon map in this example)

1. Navigate to Scenarios and Conflict Everon and select "PLAY"

2. Navigate to Scenarios and Conflict Everon and select "HOST"

I recommend the "HOST" option because you can name your save files and reuse them later, you also have access to Game Master mode if you host.

If you host a game, in order to save your progress, you have to enter Game Master mode and do a manual save (you can name the file).

To reload your game, host another instance of Conflict Everon (everything will be reset) and then enter Game Master and load from your previous saves.

With the "PLAY" option, the saves are automatic but you cannot name them and I find the game resets after a few days anyway and you lose all your progress. You will also NOT have access to Game Master during play. Game Master is very useful for changing the weather, time of day etc. This is the main reason I recommend the "HOST" route.
