Why isn't US rifle default full auto? / why do the US suck

Seriously, why isn't it? It's horrible nd garbage semi auto, half matches people tear down arsenals so.. spawn with crappy burst fire rifle, or rush to grab an ak.

Like whats the deal with the us gear, it's awful! ...

Rocket is ass, rifles ass. No BTR or unique heavy armour.

In my eyes they need to massively boost up their navy and modernise their ground forces...
I won't even bother to mention that the G3 is not an appropriate rifle for them anymore nor ever has been, due to the fact that a real war would pretty much force every soldier to be capable of amphibious operations due ot the geographics of Greece.

But meh...I assume the corruption and lack of money won't allow for any improvement anytime soon. A huge problem in quite a few NATO countries actually.

I was in the mechanized infantry, at the European border so I cant talk for the rest of the infrastructure but where it matters, gear, vehicles etc is top notch, we even did some cross training with Alexandroupoli americans, their gear were not exactly space age either, for camps inland it's more 50's gear with 50's tactics ,old american hand-me-downs, often Vietnam era. 7.62 makes sense due to neighbors as you well noted...

I think this would have looked very differently if you would have trained with regular U.S Army infantry or USMC.

Anyway, I was in the Gebirgsjäger, we generally had good equipment but also some outdated trash here and there. The G36 is absolute trash if you ask me and the optics that come with it, make no sense whatsoever.

Bottom line is, the real modern warriors you will only find in countries that constantly go to war somewhere, not in rather peaceful places like Greece or Germany. Ok, Germany has its own military industry, but still, its not combat ready, they could not defend themselves against any country really.

The real sh.. we only will find in Russia, the U,S and currently also in Ukraine, thats about it. Even the " mighty UK " is lacking a lot nowadays.

UK has fallen a lot, in terms of quantity and quality of regular troops. And as you said, the only read sh is to be found in the East, Russia, perhaps China? All the other conflicts are like those lvl 1 goon vs lvl 100 mafia boss mobile ads..

The U.K military has been neglected big time, I lived there for 7 years and had many friends in the military. It goes from leaking nuclear submarines and soldiers getting cancer up to non functioning assault rifles and soldiers losing a lot of weight due to them having to pay for food themselves and trying to save their salary, lol.

The time of the U.K empire are over...they have the knowledge to pull up such huge and effective military again, but right now...meh.

China is something else, we don't know anything about them, what they are capable of, because they never really were in any relevant conflicts of any reasonable size...either way, I would not want to fight against them, their sheer masses is already fearsome and their technology is somewhat secretive and innovative, you never know.

But hey I am sure we find out soon! Since Europe now wants to make big boom boom with Russia and stuffs tons of money into the military again, I am sure soon we will get the joy of scratching bad skin off our trench feet from each other and enjoy that nice tan we get from the nuclear sun.

coms suck, people suck, No joke I played match, I see heli.. shoot at it, 5 guys killed me from my own team, saying im shooting friendly. *looks map* no friendly. heli killed us all. been teamkilled cause of a bug makes me spawn in naked and accused of supply wasting, people in this game are worthless asset, you give me an RPG and suddenly I kill groups of people, squads, whole divisions.

if you rely on others, you cant play. :)

it's fun to interact with people, usually run around try to talk to enemies as well, allot clips got of enemies being more chill than my cringe lord larper teammates who have mental breakdowns at gust of wind.. what I mean thou is, comms <-- like usually never works, like serious call outs. they cry out enemy. *nobody knows where* just generally guy, which always like you said spec offs lone wolf in a bush.

I love screaming im injured or greaviously wounded when a guy shoots me, no joke., just today on modded server guy shot me, hes sneaking up *night time* I suddenly.. AAAAAA OH GOD OH MY GOD IM SHOT IM ... AUGH GOD THE UNBARABLE PAIN, HOLY C-CRHAAP HAA HELP ME BROTHERS HELP *guy screams shut the ♥♥♥♥ up and shoots me more* somehow i didnt die.. i scream HOW DID YOU MISSS ALL MY VITAL ORGANS, UUAAH FUUAAAAKK IM IN AGONY, SOMEBODY PUT ME OUT MY MISERY HES TORTURING ME *shouting at me, then runs away cause panicing*

I rarely hear comms used, if they are it's people screaming shouting, I'm honestly to goofy for tactical tryhard stuff, Tried it once or twice, gave up after snarky-gits hahaha. only time I think come in hand, stealing enemy radio, ONLY. once. I cant stress *ONCE* it's worked, they were complaining warning how i set up an ambush, how they would counter me, I kept countering them cause they stupidly talk about their plans. ONLY ONCE. any other time, teammates & enemies, lackluster, but still thats different grudge i got for this game xd

I play for the USSR because it's more difficult then for USA, and you have to think more outside the box, which gives you certain advantages when you understand the game mechanics.

I feel like you are getting things wrong on purpose in this post, the soviet infantry armor is superior to american Kevlar armor.

on WCS modded comms are used adequately, the occasional flame wars too, but more often than not people mark good and give good verbal info
