Awkward aim down sights mechanic
The way to toggle aim down sights should "capture" the mouse click even if the weapon isn't ready to aim down sights yet. Missing this click timing because the animation bobbles due to weird movement in first person has gotten me killed more than a few times. It is really unreliable to bring my gun up and I'm pretty sure that's not an issue that would occur in real life ;)

It would be nice to fix this by capturing the click even if I miss the timing by 0.25s or whatever and let me ADS after the bobble.

There's a lot of secondary motion in the animation that is supposed to mimic momentum and balancing, etc. I believe it is supposed to be a more realistic representation of movement as opposed to an arcade twitch shooter. I often find it odd and inconsistent and has certainly put me at a disadvantage in a sudden combat exchange.
Thanks for the comment. I suspect you're right; I'd argue it misses the goal of realism, because I do not have any issues bringing my gun up to eye level reliably IRL; I don't mind the simulation of slowness / weight, but missing my input is really frustrating and feels like the fault of the game, not the player - that's more of my point.

Yes agreed, it 'seems' laggy or glitchy which doesn't help. I also dislike the the constant jarring head bobbing effect when going over rough surfaces - it get's nauseous. There needs to be a head movement smoothing option which simulates how we balance out perceptions.
