📢📢DLSS 4 SUPPORT📢📢
Arma Reforger is the only game installed on my PC, and it desperately needs DLSS 4 support due to frame rate issues at 4K resolution.

I have upgraded my hardware from:
- CPU: Intel i9 9900K
- GPU: RTX 3080 Ti
- RAM: DDR3 32GB

To:
- CPU: Ryzen 9 9950X3D
- GPU: RTX 5090
- RAM: DDR5 64GB

Despite these upgrades, I am still not achieving the desired performance.

I've been reading many forums where others request DLSS 4 support. I believe that for such a demanding game, DLSS is not just a nice feature; it's essential.

I can settle for a stable mid-high 1440p at 70fps with my 4060 ti, 32gb ddr4 and 11700, however there are things which cause drops ,things like PIP, pip scope drop can get so bad when theres a lot of things going on screen...
It's acceptable to settle for 1440p, but it's frustrating to spend over £4000 on a rig and still struggle with 4K resolution. DLSS support could help alleviate this issue.

I get what you're saying but with dlss or any upscaler you are not at 4k any longer anyhow.

On your older setup all you had to do was Just drop your resolution down to 1440p and toggle on the fidelity fx and you must also go to the resolution scale and bump it down from 100% to say 80 or 85%. Then a mix of medium and high settings.

Also the devs already said a newer version of upscaler is not currently possible with the way the game is coded currently.

Most of the streamers with 5090 use 1440p on this game too, and if you want to hit that 144fps most of the time they do a mix of medium/high. They don't use max settings.

No it's understandable, heck even your 'old' setup which beats mine should be able to run Reforger at 4K, it looks good but it's not the most pretty game per se,nothing like photorealistic RT implemented, looks like a pretty 2015 game

You're right; my old rig can run the game in 4K, mostly at 70 FPS. However, it often dips into the mid-40s during battles and when looking down a scope. I would argue that the game can look photorealistic at times in 4K. This is why I can't settle for 1440p, as I feel it makes the game look muddy. Keep in mind that I'm running my rig through a 60-inch LG OLED G4 120Hz TV with G-Sync enabled. I'm happy to run the game at 1440p upscaled to 4K using DLSS 4, but unfortunately, that option isn't available.
Kind makes me feel like I should have stuck with my old rig and not got excited about the new one as I don't feel it has benefited as much as I expected.
Thats PC gaming for you I suppose 😂

Some don't want to face up to the reality that current hardware will not run all their games at 4k, with high fps, yet they decide that they want a 4k screen and buy one. You pay your money and make your choice!
Sure, i'd love a 4k monitor too but I'm running on a 2k ultrawide because of this reason. Drop some settings and live with it until the rest of pc hardware can catch up to your monitors requirements. You really cannot expect game devs to bend to your will, just because you made a bad decision. They probably won't.

This doesn't make much sense though, in every other era, the highest end of hardware could handle the most demanding of software and it always went hand in hand like this, even during the Crysis era you had the option of SLI as a patch.
5090 not being able to handle 4k for a game that looks not much better than Battlefield 4 maxxed out is not a big accomplishment on the dev's end. I wouldn't blame the hardware either, these things have become more power efficient and the architectures more miniaturized than ever. High level programming languages, no optimization strategics, outsourcing? it all comes down to dev 'laziness'.

I'm running a Core Ultra 9 285K and RTX 5090.

4K Ultra at 120-160 fps now. 100% res scaling and 2x hardware AA, everything else maxed out including FOV. Also using Nvidia RTX HDR and RTX Digital Vibrancy which hits perf too.

Interesting that the devs have stated a newer version upscaler is not currently possible. I hope this does not affect Arma 4.

I understand your point, and this is why DLSS 4 is important. Most developers can implement it effectively. I know that frame rates are a significant issue for many players with this game. I believe that simple upscaling could address these problems that numerous users are experiencing. Since no hardware currently available can solve this issue, it seems that software is the only viable solution.

Talon, does the game not dip into the 80s for you?

Not at all.

Strange I'm not getting the same results. All my cpu cores are being Utilized correctly and everything seems to be running as it should. I'm rocking the Gigabyte NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 GAMING OC 32GB. Can you send Proof of your performance?

Try using 1 or 2 driver versions older, I have seen a lot of people with nvidia gpus having various issues with a lot of games on the recent driver.
