3-5 second Freezes on high end PC
Tried multiple adjustments and 3-5 second hard freezes, probably 2-3 times a minute. I get 120fps on high/ultra on 3440x1440. Running AMD 9800x3D, 5070ti and 32gb ram. Any help on fixing the freezes would be greatly appreciated.

I've the same 3440x1440 resolution, AMD 7950x, 32GB ram, 9070 XT, 115-125 fps with my own settings and I have no such problems. I'm on windows 10 though, so could be a factor? My mate with windows 11 has nothing but problems in so many applications and games, so I decided not to update due to that. I saw in other posts about people with 100% cpu spikes and they all seem to be running nvidia gpu's. Maybe they're running win 11 too? Most don't mention which os they're running. So at a guess, i'd say Nvidia/Win 11 problems?

It's 100 the amd, that's 100% been the common factor with those experiencing freezes I only have a 11700 and a 4060 ti 32g on win 11 and thankfully no freezes or crashes

We're all experiencing this, it's a server issue, not your PC. Game needs a hotfix

I think you are on the money with this. Built a new PC and didn’t hesitate with windows 11 as I assumed stability would be fine by now.

Other friends who I play with on the same server don’t experience this issue, will try single player and see if the issue persists.

It’s unfortunate, all other (older) threads either have AMD CPUs or 5000 series GPUs, hopefully a fix will happen soon!

This bug is happening on PS5 and Xbox, something with the 1.3 update.

Well we didnt say most AMD freeze but rather that most freezes correlate to AMD CPU's..... Specifically newer gen(not sure for the last bit)

Addinfo: Both consoles use AMD chips

Get rid of Afterburner.

It's the X3D CPUs that run out of v-cache and then have to fetch stuff through memory. It casues the infamous AMD DIP and now freezes in games.

No such issues with my Intel Core Ultra 9 285K. Buttery smooth, never freezes or hitches.

No problems with my 5800x3d ever on this game, no crashes, hitches or issues.

Btw, for anyone suffering similar problems. I Just read this in the tech news and it may help someone:
Game developers warn GeForce RTX 4000 and 3000 owners to roll back Nvidia drivers.
Since updating to Nvidia's 572.xx drivers, RTX 40 and 30-series users have experienced problems with some new games. Issues include crashes, freezes, stuttering, and sudden frame drops. Might be related, might not be.
