REFUNDED - price was raised before sale and more........

Loads of fanboys calling me "too broke" when they clearly don't get it. This isn't about how much money I earn or can spend, it's about calling out companies that do scummy stuff like this.

I have thousands of hours combined in ARMA 2, ARMA 3, and the main modded communities, I have purchased ARMA 3 for multiple friends and multiple Steam accounts, they were great games with great prices. The recent ARMA Reforger crap needs to stop.

Too long have we put up with crap and supported these companies. This is what my post is about, its about warning people.

To anyone commenting and claiming I'm broke, or I am crying, I have a 7 letter response for you.






Reasons:

1. The price was actually raised from the normal price right before the sale, then they put it on sale and its more than it used to be.

Lowest recorded price: $21.13 at -40% SUMMER SALE 2024

New price (because shareholders need Christmas bonus!): $39.99 2024/11/18
Wow new Winter sale price??: $24.78 2024/12/19

Oh wait what about our bonus?: $28.61 2024/12/20

I want more Champaign though?: $29.99 2024/12/21

The current sales price "Merry Christmas!!!" is the same as it was January 4th.

I already owned the game so it did not affect me, but had friends waiting on Christmas sale to buy it and then see it is actually regular price when on sale. The increase actually happened before PS5 release, so this was a calculated pre-sale increase. PC users are going to pay more for an increase caused by console support that the PC users don't want to begin with. LOL

That's not the worst part - when the sale began I could've bought the Bundle with Arma 3 for 25€ and the day after the price was raised to like 28-29€ and right now said Bundle costs 32€. I feel like it gets more expensive everyday which feels scummy as ♥♥♥♥. Guess I'm not getting Reforger then.

You all are to blame yourself and no one else, the price increase was very well announced before hand, you all had literally two years to get this. The price also wasn't raised before any sale, it was literally raised right after the sale. It was also announced while the game was on SALE. Game got its announced content updates, Reforger is even going to get more content which hasn't even initally been part of the roadmap.
After two years the game is getting just 10$ price increase and your whole word shatters? That's 100% a you problem.

99% of the threads created regarding price increase is no real critiscm but just "crying"
What is the point you're trying to make?
If you would atleast say Arma Reforgers current content quantity/quality doesn't justify the price increase then you have a basis to discuss on but you don't. This game definitely had its flaws but most of them have been fixed or are being adressed in experimental version.

- They dropped taviona for free in arma 3 and selled it with winter skins for dayz for 20€$; every modder does a better job

Arma is a wonderfull game but Bohemia Interactive is a shady company.

Price increase was announced well before it went up. Stop acting like it was over night and for the people who have now said they won't buy it because it's "too expensive" If you can't afford it now, you couldn't afford it before either.. The game is 100% worth the price it's at now. Either buy it or don't but you're one that's going to miss out because you'd rather cry instead. Arma 4 isn't for another 2+ years so I think $30-$40 is well worth the money to keep you entertained til then. People mentioning Dayz maps and other stuff you sound mad and broke.

That's not even 100% of what happened. Look at the steamDB price history. They messed with the sale price for a couple days this week. A bundle went from $24 to $29 over night. We weren't warned about that. No one actually cares about $5, we care about the underhanded practices.

It is good to be an informed and intelligent consumer. I wait for literal years to buy games until they are in steep discount, but I applaud this type of thinking; if more people did the research and valued their money we would reverse the downward spiral of quality in gaming.

Why? He's leaving out info to try and prove his point.. He got the player stats from Steam Charts which doesn't account for Console players, Reforger is cross play with between PC, Xbox and now PS5 and he knew what he was doing leaving that fact out.. Like I've said previously they told us in advance about a price increase.. He's just mad calling everyone fan boys when he has thousands of hours in the previous games but because they have done something he doesn't agree with he throws a tantrum. The game is well worth the money, Do the research and decide for yourself.. Don't let some random who twists the narrative decide for you. All I will say is it's an Arma game, It isn't for everyone. It's buggy, crashes and straight up annoys you but that's Arma in a nutshell, if you can't handle that stuff then don't buy but even with all that stuff the game is worth it.
