I am just confused.
I have 300h in this game on steam and around 100h on Xbox, orientation is not a problem for me.
a properly calibrated monitor/TV shouldn't be crushing blacks and have good gradients, I use stock gamma and no tricks and I can "see" relatively good at night.
I use RTX HDR and if I used stock settings for that I wouldn't see ♥♥♥♥ but thats because it does a poor job on stock settings so I obviously do adjust that so that its comparable to SDR also increase the saturation so it feels a bit more vibrant but that's largely a personal choice.
if you have NVIDIA try turning off auto-HDR, and then apply RTX HDR in the game filters, then adjust the sliders there.
- use GL flares
- use Helicopter search light.
DAMN play in team than you solve so many problems.
I was having problems with the NVGs on a modded server the other night and it was pitch black, there's a fix for some bugs by going into ArmAvision and when I did that it didn't fix my NVGs but when I exited ArmA vision the night time was more moonlit and I could see a lot more.
So I don't know if the extreme dark is a bug when there is meant to be moonlight? I can understand if it's cloudy or overcast then it's gonna be dark as the ace of spades
They need to add night vision or change something about the nights for sure.
