Easy way to download mods?

Some servers require a sh*t ton of mods. As someone coming from squad, i dont see an easy way to download em all except for just typing them out manually a downloading them. And how many different modded versions of the game are there. In squad theres like 3 and if you download those modpacks there's pretty much no server you cant join. Need advice, offer cookies

The Arma Workshop is garbage. If you join a server with mods, it "should" download the mods automatically. Sometimes the mods will fail to download. You can download the rest of the mods on the server and click retry to attempt to download the failed mods.

From what I've seen there's no real consistency with modded servers. All of these servers just slap on whatever sounds coolest. Quality and balance doesn't matter. If you want a more consistent experience you will probably have to join one of the larger modded servers like WCS. I think they try to keep their modlist the same across their servers.

What do you mean? You join a server, and the required mods are instantly downloaded when you see the list. You don't have to manually search.
