Console players ruined this game

I remember before the Console players came this was a serious milsim game

Now its just TK TK TK from the Console players

Me and my boy were spawning helis every time without fail a console player would blow us up smh

Iv come to the conclusion the Console players are way way to impatient for this game, they think everything should happen instantly like its COD or something because the come from those types of games. so they will resort to TK at base when they cant figure out how to get in the battle

And then if you turn off cross play it eliminates like all of the good severs

Im about to go back to squad cas its so bad my friend is pissed too

And its like you kick these people and they come right back do the same thing again wtf!!

You guys are something else. You truly have over invested yourself in a video game. There is absolutely NOTHING milsim about Arma - it is simply a video game with some extra button presses to make you feel like something complex is happening. You can continue to larp as a marine as you pew pew pew at the telly all you want to don't expect the rest of us to share your delusions.

You have to be somewhat vested if you're willing to sit for 45 min+ in a queue waiting to play. Anyway, I will bet the farm that YOU are one of these console players that they are talking about, as thou protesteth too much. Oh, for the record, you can't LARP in front of "the telly", as the "L" and "A" stand for LIVE ACTION.

Seriously though, I can assure you that waiting 45 mins to play a game does not make it anymore a milsim than the excessive pressing of buttons does.
And no, I play on a PC and use the most excellent controller options that the developers have implemented - its a more streamlined and accessible system.
I'm glad they have welcomed the console users to the frey - those guys are way more chill than the hissy-fit milsim autists who team kill if you're not having fun 'correctly'.

Last night I witnessed so much TK’ing that I almost left for another server. Then realized that it happens in most servers at one point or another.

Seems like every single match, the game starts, everyone’s fresh, supplies are limited. People TKing like it’s the way to win….. I watched a few guys build an armory in rather than vehicle depot and a few people spoke up about it. We needed those supplies and we could get geared up later….so a few people decided to dig up the armory to gain some supplies back, other players who already played Barbie and had all their guns and attachments didn’t like this and TKing started again.

Seriously, grown-ass men…..bickering over platoon chat…..come on now…..it’s pretty darn toxic!!

I completely agree with everyones point of view on Console Gamers [no offense], however this problem is in your control to prevent.

Game became better. Consoles arent going anywhere. In fact Reforger content support was extended beyond the roadmap, you dont get to choose.

Problem with disabling crossplay is that you’re left with barely any servers that aren’t even close to being full.

BI shared player numbers back in January, and PC players were the largest group.

PC players really would do themselves a huge favor if more of them running servers disabled crossplay.

Every time I see teamkillers or ppl hot micing and it's a console player is too damn high.

The people denying it are usually the same caliber of player is the console players in my experience honestly. There's practically no teamwork on every single server and you'll be getting backcapped with no one willing to stop their mad dash to forwards offensive points and then look and a huge chunk of them are console players (Or friends of console players, having bought a new PC during covid or some ♥♥♥♥ since they were once also console players it seems like)

Game is improved partially over A3 to an extent but more players of a niche thing = garbage every single time. D&D's a good example tho' people will cope about how the mass market appeal was good when uh, if you look at the quality of content post-covid and critical role bringing in all the dead brained sub 50 IQ type of people? ... Yeah no.

It got gentrified by Battlefield refugees like Squad did, you'll see this on modded servers where admins just decide to get rid of anything that makes the game harder to play, like night time or adverse weather effects.

Joined a official server couple days ago and noticed one guy was explaining basic mechanics to these new people and i put in my input on battle zero and sights then went to arsenal to get a backpack and resupply pack and heard one of the new people was killing everybody within range so i had to put him down and he leaves the server.

Was playing another official server and seen some people clueless at main op so i spawned in a car and dude says "Hey we can use this" and steals my car straight up and drives away as im explaining thats mine,
look im not saying all console players are like this since some folks on pc probably do the same, but damn dude if i had a nickle for every bs ive seen from console's side, i'd be a rich man.
